Rooted in passion. Built on legacy.

Run with heart.

The farm was once known as Poco Razz Farm, named in tribute to the first two horses owned by its former caretaker. In the same spirit of honouring the animals who shape our journey, we felt it was only fitting to reflect the horses that sparked our own dream.

Windy Pine Farms is more than just a nod to the landscape, it’s a heartfelt tribute to the horses and experiences that brought this vision to life.

Here on the open prairies, the wind is ever-present. It’s powerful, unpredictable, and alive—just like the horses we care for. To us, it symbolizes freedom, motion, and the raw, shifting beauty of life on the land.

But the name Windy Pine also carries a deeply personal meaning, drawn from two of the most influential horses in my life.

Seekin the Win, affectionately known as Ben, was my very first horse, the one who started it all. While we called him Ben around the barn, his registered name always reminded me of the spirit of competition and the deep bond between horse and rider. As the first horse who inspired me, we borrowed “Win” from his name for Windy Pine Farms. He laid the foundation for my journey in the show ring and taught me the true meaning of connection with a horse.

Years later came Ponderossa Pine, or Saul, my most unforgettable show partner, and the inspiration behind “Pine.” Saul was quirky, full of personality, and endlessly rewarding to ride. He challenged me, pushed me to grow and taught me what it meant to be a true showman. Together, we traveled across North America, even living in Texas for a year to perfect our craft. In our final season together we earned circuit championships at the Arizona Sun Circuit, and competed on the world stage at the AQHA Youth World Show.

Today, both Ben and Saul are still happily living with their respective owners, and I’m grateful to hear updates about them often.

The name Windy Pine Farms weaves together the spirit of this land and the legacy of the horses who carried me through my greatest milestones. It’s a symbol of resilience, growth, and deep gratitude.

This farm is built on those memories and with every horse that comes through our gates, we continue that legacy.
